Among The Broken is a faith based 501(c)(3) non-profit charity based out of San Antonio, Texas. We have been providing goods and volunteer services to neglected sectors of our city since November 2011. Some areas of outreach include, but are not limited to, the homeless, nursing home residents, those afflicted with HIV/AIDS, and low income families. We strive to not just make a difference in the lives of the marginalized, but to make a lasting impact on our community through influence that will be carried for years to come.

These words as basic and common as they might appear, play a big part of Among The Broken’s mission. We have been called to serve, and because of that our actions embody these words. We serve without expecting anything in return. We just want to be allowed the opportunity to make a difference in the community.
Generosity – When we give of our resources and time and we don’t expect anything in return.
Faith – Believing in God and the mission He has bestowed upon us.
Service – The physical aspect of helping others.
Give – When we offer of our resources and time.
Compassion – Understanding and/or sympathizing with someone’s suffering.
Community – People coming together to make a difference.
Humanity – When you see people as God’s creation and set aside race, social class, and religious or political beliefs.
