December Recap:
Sarah Roberts French Home: Among The Broken collaborated with the Brennan High School Orchestra and guitar program to play Christmas music for the ladies at Sarah Roberts French home. It was a wonderful night to spread holiday cheer! Thank you to everyone that showed up to support!
Christmas Gifts: Last month we went on a little shopping spree to gather some toys that benefited 120 families through the GoodHood! Thank you to Amanda Alvarez, Mabel Tijerina, Bonnie Tijerina, and Nichole Aguero for putting in the work to help make this happen!
Helping the Homeless: Among The Broken met with some volunteers at the Via Centro Plaza to help feed and donate some clothing to the homeless. We fed and provided warmth to about 130 homeless people in downtown San Antonio. We gave out care packages, hot pizza, hot chocolate, bottled water, snacks oranges, bananas, and warm clothing. We want to thank our volunteers: Frank and Diane, Jordan P, Zoe A, and Alexis N! Thank you to Barbara and Raul for putting this all together!
Nino De Mi Barrio Event!: This year, Among The Broken handed out gifts to families of Nino De El Barrio. We had multiple gift bags given out to kids and families for Christmas! All of this could not have been done with out the help of our volunteers! Thank you to Patricia and Rick Nunez, Vanessa, Alyssa, Aliya Coronado, Sherry Jordyn, Aubrey Pharr, Frank and Diane Aguilar, Debbie Alvarez and family!

Helping the Homeless!: We are looking for gently used warm clothes to be given to the homeless on January 18th 2026. If you have old jeans, sweats, long sleeve shirts, sweaters or jackets, gloves, and beanies, please get with us before then to help keep our homeless community warm this new year. We will be offering food to the homeless on 1/18/26 as well if you would like to come out and support! If you have items that you want to donate before hand, please reach out to Barbara at barbara@amongthebroken.org

ATB Classroom Raffle!: We are having another raffle for ALL teachers! This is for a $100 Amazon gift card to help restock your classroom with items that you need.
